The B.Tech Information Technology Programme is accredited by NBA in its third cycle. The department also served as an approved research center for Ph.D. programs in Information Technology & Computer Science affiliated with RashtrasantTukadojiMaharaj Nagpur University.

Our esteemed faculty members, renowned experts in fields such as Image Processing and Computer Vision, High-Performance Computing, Data Mining & Machine Learning, and Computer Networking, actively contribute to research and academic publications.
Emphasizing holistic development, the department administers the student chapter of the Computer Society of India (CSI) for YCCE, organizing technical events, programming contests, quizzes, and web designing competitions. The student council, SPIRIT (Society of Passionate Individuals Representing Information Technology), fosters all-round development through various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, including inter/intra college competitions and social outreach initiatives under the ‘AURA’ student forum.
