The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur was established in the year 2021. The department is having 3 Thrust Areas – “Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning”, “Computer Vision, Image Processing”, “Cloud Computing, Blockchain Technology”. The dept. conducts a variety of research and development activities. There are various students’ organizations like “Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) Students Chapter”, “COSMOS (Computer Science Management and Organizing Structure), CODEWARE, GDG (Google Developers Group) on campus etc. which pro-actively organises various seminars, workshops and other developmental activities. The dept. always strive for better placements, publications, patents and research proposals to be submitted to various funding agencies like DST, AICTE, RGSTC etc.
